Whoa! After only two victories in 22 games last season, the Frenchmen totally take out their frustration on the Flyers! The Habs were lead by Lloyd Rogers out of their pregame locker room chanting: “New Season, New Season, New Season!” Deuces wild for subs Gregg Calvin and “Downtown” Jimmy Brown. Singles for Pierre Dugas, Mark Rogers, Jeff Curran and Steve Lemieux. Mike Riddle, Marty Papesh and Brian Moore tally for the Flyers. Flyers goalie Billy Schaugg felt like the Maytag repairman – the loneliest guy on the ice! Where was everybody, as the Habs swooped in time after time?

Affable Habs goalie Gordie Nadolsky, who has saw more red this year than downtown Amsterdam, just sat postgame with a satisfying smile on his face!
