WINGS   6    HAWKS   2

Complete domination as the Wings continue on their Hurricane Ian course!  Zach Wagner with the trick.  Singles for European sub Kostesich(Also 3 Helpers), Ryan Boyette and Dad Terry.  Terry lost one of his longtime hockey buddies recently, Bill Cook.  They were longtime teammates of the storied Utica Old Puckers(Clean Version Name) tournament team.  That goal was for you Cookie!  Dave Rupperecht and John Poolton score for the Hawks in this penalty free game.

BRUINS   7     HABS   2

Captain Rex Baker leads the Bruins assault, scoring on the first shift of the game!  Deuces wild for Mike Riddle and Scott Davenport.  Steve Wink and Mike “Padre” Nalepa also with goals.  Jamie Smith with the hat trick assist.  Goalie Gordie Nadolsky with a light workload.  As he normally does – scoring machine Rob Rowling scores twice for the Habs.

SHARKS   5     FLYERS   5

A wide open free skating affair as the score indicates.  John Cornish with the trick for the Sharks.  Greg Stacy and sub Chris Ballach also with goals.  Mike Garlick with three helpers.  Flyers – Brian Reath, Trevor Wrobel, Mark Rogers, Rob Hergott and Marty Papesh.

BRUINS   4     SHARKS   2

Mike Riddle scores the shorthanded game winning goal as the Bruins sweep on the day!  Jim Robie with the deuce.  Scott Davenport with the Bruins initial marker.  Goaler Gordy Nadolsky was stellar in nets as the Bruins killed four penalties today!    Sharks sub Chris Ballach with both of their goals.

HAWKS   4     HABS   3

Old Hoser Danny Rea buries the power play game winning goal for the Hawks!  John Poolton with the hat trick.  Goalie Kris Arthur was excellent between the pipes!  Paul “Stork” Erickson(SH) and the Robs – Montgomery(SH) and Rowling score for the undisciplined Frenchmen, who rack up six penalties in the game.  But they do score shorthanded twice!  Rob Rowling with a minor unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.  Then John Poolton(Holding) puts a bear hug on Anthony Amato who takes exception and incurs a roughing minor penalty.

WINGS   6     FLYERS   3

Still undefeated in the season, the top spot Wings score five times in the first period for the victory!  As in game one – Zach Wagner with the trick!  Brother Nate, Scott Chodun and new Detroit Tigers president Scott Harris(See Picture Below) lookalike sub Mike Ala with singles.  Trevor Wrobel(PP), Waz Sarweh and Pierre Dugas score for the Flyers.  Dugas was a little ornery today, as he picks up a two and ten minute checking from behind penalties on the same play.

Who is the first Michigan native to score a hat trick as a Red Wing?
