The Flyers score twice in each period for the W.  Donnie Riviera, Rob Rowling, Billy “The Dark” Knight and Serbian sub Artimovich score for the Flyers.  Puck stopper Billy Schaugg was solid in nets.  Captain Rex Baker and Joey Reiss score for the men in yellow.

Total domination by the sub laden Sharks in this game, as their team is littered with five subs!  Having a breakout season – defenseman Craig Bastuba with a two goal game.  Singles for “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio and subs Scott Davenport, Mike Garlick and Paul “The Stork” Erikson.  Nate McNaughtry and Al Pyc score for the Hawks.

2-1 at the end of one.  Then the wheels fell off the wagon for the Wings as the top spot Habs score six final period goals.  Subbing for Captain Bryan Prentice, Gregg Kalvin with a four goal game!  John Cornish with the deuce.  Singles for Steve Bittner and Jeff Curran.  Larry “School Boy” Rowe and defenseman Pierre Dugas with the hat trick assist.

BRUINS   4    WINGS   2

1-1 at the end of one, as the Bruins add three more goals in the final period.  Penalty minute leader John McNeilly factors in all his teams goals with a 1 & 3 game.  Joey Reiss with the deuce.  The leagues leading scorer Mike Nalepa also with a marker.  Jim Puffer and Mike “King of the Road” Miller do the honors for the Wings, as they have now dropped their past two doubleheaders.

The Hawks put a spanking on the Flyers, as line-mates Dr. Nate McNaughtry and John Shelton both with two goal games.  Singles for Brian Reath, Steve “Mario” Lemieux and on an absolute top shelf blast – Curt Lesnau.  Big Rob Rowling with both Flyers goals.  Rob’s second goal came at the buzzer, as Pat Wosek blasts a slap shot from his own blue-line, which the Hawks goalie cannot secure and Rowling punches it in.  That bizarre goal tied Rob for the goal scoring lead.

Story of this game was Habs puck stopper and goals against leader Dar, who was simply magnificent in nets, foiling the Sharks time after time!  Steve Bittner with a two goal game for the Habs.  Singles for Scott Chodun and rushing defenseman Pierre Dugas.  Timmy “Dutch” Schultz(2) and Ward Peterson tally for the Fish.
