One of five subs for the Wings – Scott Leslie, scores with the goalie pulled at the buzzer for the tie! Fellow sub John Zuccarini and Brian Belloli also with Wings tallies. Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins and the Steve’s – Orr and Lemieux score for the Frenchmen.
SHARKS 5 BRUINS 4
The Sharks steal this game from the men in yellow! The Sharks score twice in a two minute span with just under five minutes left in the game, to erase a 4-3 Bruins advantage! Jimmy George with a two goal game for the Sharks. Singles for Al Phipps, Ronnie Meltsner and Steve Dietrich. Rick Batchelder with the deuce for the Bruins. Robbie Porter and Adam Godard also with Bruins goals. Godard and Al Phipps take turns chopping each other and both hit the box in tandem.
HABS 3 HAWKS 0
Sir Kevin Beebe shuts the door and the Habs clinch to play next week! Jimmy “Boog” Powell, Bruce Gooel and Steve “Mario” Lemieux dent the twine for the Habs. No Hawks highlights. Habs sub Brian Gross picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.

With the pressure off – late arriving Flyers Captain Howard Smith told his troops – “Let’s Roll” and roll they did! Big Ben Haynes with the hat trick. Singles for Billy Hagen, Rob “The Riflemen” Duncan and Chuck Mouraine(Also 3 Helpers). Al Pyc and Randy Debeul score for the Hawks who drop a deuce today.
SHARKS 7 WINGS 5
Whoa! Wings up 3-0 entering the final period. The Sharks go on a feeding freenzy and score seven tines in the final period! Sniper Ronnie Meltsner gets the party started scoring twice on the same shift 13 seconds apart! Jimmy George and sub “Mickey” Brantley also with two goal games. Gary Szylanski also with a marker. Wings – Brian Belloi(2) and subs Scott Leslie, “Mark” McGuire and Lawson. No penalties in this high scoring affair.
