FLYERS 5 SHARKS 1
The Flyers jump out to a 4 zip first period lead and cruise for the victory. Robbie Porter with the deuce. Singles for Robert E. Lee, Steve Orr, on a beautiful end to end rush and sub Lawson. Sub puck stopper Rick “Ticker” Chauvin with an excellent game between the pipes. Sub “Magnum” Higgins was the only Shark to solve Ticker.
HAWKS 4 HABS 3
The Hawks snap their three game losing streak as they defeat the Habs for the second time in a row. Curt Bailey with the Hawks final two markers. Billy Hagen and Rob Halbhuber also tally for the Hawks, who receive staunch sub goaltending from the master – Bruno Tadolini! John “The Little Ball of Hate” Perini, Terry Masserant and sub Marchin Niecalek with the Habs markers.
SHARKS 4 BRUINS 0
Pat Collins rights the ship for the Fish, scoring their first three goals of the game! Ronnie Meltsner with their final goal. Sting rookie Kenny Lipschutz was outstanding in nets with the whitewash! No Bruins highlights.
FLYERS 2 WINGS 2
Jimmy George scores his second goal of the game with just over two minutes left in the game, to salvage the tie for the Wings. Line-mates Steve Orr and General Lee with the Flyers goals. Both sub goalies – Ticker and Paul Kaczmarek with strong games in nets.
