FLYERS   5    WINGS   4

The Flyers score twice in a 14 second span with thee minutes remaining in the game, to lock up the first spot in the second half season!  Scoring machine machine Robert E. Lee leads the charge with a two goal game.  Singles for Bruce Gooel(Also 3 Helpers), Ryan O’Rourke and the cerebral Gary Enmark.  Al Pyc with the deuce for the Wings.  Jimmy George and JP also with Wings tallies.

HABS   2     SHARKS   0

Wow!  At 75 years young,  sub goalie and former Morley candy maker and wine connnoisseur,  Bruno Tadolini spins the shutout for the Habs!  Cam “Steamboat” Lawrence and Mike Ala score shifts apart for the W!  No Shark sightings in this game!

BRUINS   3     HAWKS   2

Ground Hog day at it’s best!  The Hawks once again lose in the final minute of the game as right winger Adan Godard buries his second goal of the game in the game’s last minute !  Steve Lemieux with a seeing eye knuckel ball for their first goal.  Rob Halbhuber and sub Bobby Watson tally for the Hawks in this penalty free game

Tough tough tie for the Wings, who go up 4-0 and 5-1 in the first period, only to see the resilient Hawks roar back for the tie!  The Wings were not very happy campers post game!  Jimmy George with the deuce for the Wings.  Singles for speedy Mark Smyth, Al Pyc and on a beautiful backhand tuck – JP.  Rob Halbhuer and Bob “Bugsy” Watson both with two goal games.  Right winger Mike Lawson with a single.

SHARKS   8    FLYERS   2

Well – I assume the Flyers knew they had first place wrapped up, as they certainly played like it!  Dual hat tricks for Ronnie Meltsner and Czech sub Niecalek.  Sub Dougie Roehl with their initial goal.  Bruce Gooel and Captain Ryan O’Rourke tally for the Flyers.

HABS   3   BRUINS  2

Mike Ala snaps the 2-2 tie with nine minutes left in the game, as the the Habs sweep!  Captain Kenny Wilkins proclaims post game – “We are playoff ready!”  Cam Lawrence and Jimmy “Boog” Powell with singles.  James Chapie and Notre Dame enthusiast Randy Bebuel with the Bruins markers.  Winning sub goalie Bruno Tadolini and Bruins goalie Bobby Rutkoske both excellent games in nets!
