WINGS 4 HABS 3
The Wings edge the Frenchmen in this tightly contested contest. Paulie “Jay” Giles strums in the game winning goal for the Wings. John Zuccarini and subs Scott Leslie and “Mario” Lemieux complete the Wings scoring. “Gentleman” Don Courtley, Jeff “Dick” Tracy and sub Niecalek tally for the Habs in this penalty free game.

STARS 3 BRUINS 0
Stevie Lambert dents the twine twice for the Stars. Texas call up Sala with the middle goal. Bobby Rutkoske with the whitewash. No Bruins highlights.

LEAFS 5 HAWKS 4
It doesn’t happen too often on Tuesday’s nights at the Troy Arena – but it happened tonight – the Leafs won! Finding their long lost offense, the Leafs put a five spot up on the board! Deuces wild for Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel and just in time for the holiday – Al Sparks! Newmarket call up McCrea also with a goal. Al Platt with three assists. Even Leafs net minder Bruce Miller pitched in with a helper. Hawks – Steve Orr(2), Rob “The Rifleman” Duncan and sub “Magnum” Higgins. Leafs sub Kevin Mahon picks up a solo two minute roughing penalty.

WINGS 5 BRUINS 2
The top spot Wings win their third consecutive doubleheader as they send the Bruins to a double dip defeat today. John Zuccarini with two goals for the Wings. Singles for subs Kaczmarek, Scott Leslie and “Mario” Lemieux. Mike Ala with a big 4 assist game! Joe Plati and John Perrini score for the Bruins.

STARS 5 HAWKS 1
Mark Smyth scores 45 ticks into the game and the Stars never look back in this one. Defenseman Mike Charison, Tommy Trice, Ronnie Meltsner and Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins with singles. Goaltender Bobby Rutkoske with a light workload. Sub “Magnum” Higgins with the lone Hawks marker.

HABS 2 LEAFS 1
The providence of Quebec defeats their cohorts from Ontario, as this game was highlighted by the goaltending efforts of both puck stoppers – Sir Kevin Beebe and Brian Miller. “Bruising” Joe Grusling(PP) and Russian sub Niecalek do the honors for the Habs. Sub power winger Kevin Mahon with the lone Leafs marker.
