OFF TO KEY WEST IN SEARCH OF THE PERFECT MOJITO!

RETURNING FOR THE NOVEMBER 15 GAMES.

HABS   3    HAWKS   1

Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins scores the game winning and insurance goal to send his Frenchmen to the victory.  Chris Zanke with the Habs initial marker.  Goaler Sir Kevin Beebe was very solid between the pipes.  Sniper Ronnie Meltsner with the lone Hawks tally in this penalty free game.

SHARKS   4     BRUINS    4

Jimmy “Boog” Powell puts the Sharks up 3-0 with the natural hat trick entering the final stanza.  Bob “Bugsy” Watson scores his first of three goals at the two minute mark of the final period of the short handed variety.  Joe Plati with the Sharks final goal.  Adam Godard with the Bruins second marker.

FLYERS   2    WINGS   2

Finally – Wings sub goaler Rick “Ticker” Chauvin listens to his wife Carol and subs for a team other than the last place Hawks.  According to Carol – the Hawks were affecting Ticker’s physiological and physical well being.  Both goalie’s – Ticker and Mike Mostyn with excellent games in nets.  Stevie Lambert and Dougie Roehl score for the Wings.  Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel and Mike Ala tally for the Flyers.

FLYERS   4    BRUINS   2

A very entertaining contest as the Flyers break open a tight 2-2 tie with two last minute goals!  Al Platt with the Flyers first two markers.  John Zuccarini with the last minute game winner.  Gary Enmark with the empty netter.  The red hot Bobby Watson and “Motor City” Eddie Kowalczyk with the Bruins goals.  It was enjoyable listening to Eddie following the game, telling his Halloween stories as a kid hitting bar after bar on Caniff street in Hamtramck with his pillow case, collecting candy from the local bar patrons.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

HABS   2    WINGS   0

Sir Kevin Beebe and the Habs play some defense today as they only allow one goal on the night!  Sir Kevin was on his game as he whitewashes the top spot Wings!  Jim “Jacques” Lemire and John Perini with second period goals for the Habs who also killed off three penalties.  No Wings highlights.

HAWKS    5     SHARKS   2

Enough is enough!  Behind their fourth goalie of the season – Brian Miller – and playing with an attitude – the Hawks harpoon the Sharks!  The Hawks spread out the scoring: James George, Mark Smyth, Brian Belloli (Also 3 Helpers), Ronnie Meltnser and Chuck Mouraine.  Miller shined in nets!  The attitude part – unsportsmanlike penalties for Ronnie Meltsner and “Gentleman” Don Courtley, who also added a second penalty to his portfolio.  Proudly wearing his “Elect Donald Trump” jersey, Sharks power forward Kevin Mahon with both Sharks tallies!
